WENCK family group 1897. This photo may have been taken at the time of the funeral for Emma Wenck née Wruck, wife of Carl, who died 23 Jan 1897. By the end of that year both Trinke and Gustav had died. Maureen Matthews owns the original which was very overexposed on those wearing white. Jennifer Crockett had the photo professionally retouched to reduce the overexposure. (See next photo for key to individuals) |
